Welcome to Cherkov Art Studio Channel!
The studio was founded by the artist Alexander Cherkov in 1995. This channel represents the studio and is managed by the artist and his team, and introduces the artist, his art works, workshops and his books.
Alexander Cherkov lives in Israel, creates art and teaches sculpture, painting and drawing in his studio.
The concept that guides us is that art is a universal language and anyone can use it. The ability to create is as natural to a person as the ability to speak, read or write. Similar to these abilities, a process of study, experimentation and guidance is required. The purpose of the channel is to convey the knowledge and tools that will help you in the learning process.
The channel focuses on the three fields of visual art: sculpture, painting and drawing. You will find step-by-step instructional videos and demonstrations of how to sculpt and paint.

I remember reading in his diaries that he once shaved his mustache and got embarrassed of how he looked and thought he wouldn't go outside till it grows back, it was a funny little thing.

@@CHERKOV I thought you were making a clay sculpture. Clay is fired in a kiln. Clay things that are fired can only be but so thick otherwise it will explode in the kiln. To get around this ceramic artists make things hollow and also add a small hidden hole where the air can vent. Even if it’s hollow it will still explode without a way for the air to vent. Since you’re confused you must not plan on firing that. Or you must not be working with clay. What material are you using?
